At Scort, we are dedicated to upholding ethical and responsible practices in all aspects of our work. Our Code of Conduct guides us in maintaining high standards in areas such as business ethics, anti-corruption, privacy, health and safety, non-discrimination, and environmental protection.
Child Protection Policy
Central to our mission is our strong commitment to child protection, ensuring that we take concrete measures to safeguard young people and create safe, supportive environments across all our initiatives. We actively promote children’s well-being and condemn any form of exploitation or abuse.
Our Child Protection Policy offers a comprehensive framework to safeguard children’s rights and prevent violence. All parties involved in our projects must adhere to this policy, ensuring compliance with our standards. Additionally, we implement strict protocols to ensure children’s privacy and dignity in media communications.
Awareness raising
In collaboration with experts, we raise awareness, provide practical tools and inform project participants and stakeholders about promoting safe practices and identifying risks, both offline and online. Through our educational programmes, we empower participants to take active steps in safeguarding and protecting children.
As part of our advocacy efforts, we use sport and play-based initiatives to raise awareness about safeguarding children, including the promotion of safe digital media use.
Data Protection implications
Aligned with our commitment to child protection, we take strict measures to safeguard the privacy and dignity of all individuals involved in our activities.
We adhere to international standards, including the 1948 Universal Declaration of Human Rights (Art. 12), the 1950 European Convention on Human Rights (Art. 8), and the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), as well as applicable local protection laws at project locations.
These frameworks are essential when we capture personal information – such as text, image, audio data – from individuals, especially children, involved in the foundation’s activities for monitoring, evaluation or communication purposes.
